Neo Geo Pocket didn't really catch on and was crushed underfoot by
Nintendo's Colour Gameboy and Gameboy Advance. A shame really when this
is one of the best footy games ever. Nice cartoony graphics run at a steady pace with only a variety of moves available from the directional controller and 2 buttons. Slide, tackle, head, chest-down and shoot to score. Addictive good fun for any football fanatic. |

game in the arcades and a great conversion for the little hand-held. If this game was released on the more popular formats it would sell millions. Platforming action as a mercenary soldier sent gung-ho into battle armed with machine gun and grenades. Save POWs on the way as you trample over the enemy and hitch a ride in the occasional tank. Ikari Warriors in a platform style. |

probably seemed like a good idea at the time turns into a stupendous
abomination. Anyone who thought of turning the hugely popular Cool Boarders snow boarding franchise on the Playstation into an isometric 2D effort on a hand-held must have ice-cubes in their head. This game is ridiculously crap and plays like it fell out a polar bears arse. The highlight of the game, other than turning it off, is the ability to jump over the odd stray dog or bear. I won't make any jokes about being on the piste. This game IS piss. |

A super puzzle game that matches Tetris for addiction. Cutesy Japanese manga-style cartooning crossed with classic brain-busting strategy. Drop your like-coloured amoeba onto each other. 4 together eliminates them and throws grey boulders into your opponents screen. If your screen fills up then it's game over. Once you start playing you just can't stop. Easy first levels make you believe you are the greatest player and challenge the next contestant who turns out a better performer. Yikes! |
