Gameboy

Super Mario Land 3 : Wario Land
Wario One of the many Mario games not to feature Mario but his arch enemy, Wario.
Classic platform action as you run about changing your helmet to gain various powers and picking up small critters to throw at other critters.
There's a story in there somewhere, I think, and there's a map to negotiate to via progress through each level.
Originally on the black and white Gameboy but still retains its playability regardless of any added colour.

Game and Watch Gallery
Gallery The old Game & Watch series of handhelds brought cunningly back to life in this retro package.
You can play with graphics just like the originals or with enhanced graphics as shown here, featuring the more identifiable Nintendo characters.
Simple Left-Right action makes way for some addictive gameplay which does actually get quite difficult.
Four games are featured in this collection including the popular Fire and Octopus.
There's just no "Watch" though.

Street Fighter II
Street Fighter II A beat-em-up on an 8 BIT handheld? Surely not.
Sure is - and here is not just any beat-em-up but one of the greatest recreated in miniature form for like minded people.
All the original Street Fighter characters are here, all in exciting 4 tone graphics with as many action moves that a D-pad and 2 buttons can muster.
How did they fit this into a handheld? They chopped out all the best bits, that's how.

Pokemon : Blue Edition
Pokemon The electronic game of the TV series of the confusing card collector game.
A bit like Zelda but with stupid fighting creatures with stupid names like Pikachu, Machop and Cowpat.
This game sold so many that they repackaged it in different colours and varied the game slightly so they could sell even more of the same thing to stupid people.
A limp-strung-together Zelda-a-like story involving one-on-one Pokemon fighting.
Yawn.

Konami Collection Volume 1
Konami Collection Amazing collection of 4 great games.
Gradius is a sideways shooter similar to R-Type and Nemesis. Extra weapons can be gained by picking up the power pods.
Castlevania is a poor version of the classic platformer involving whipping the baddies to death.
Formula 1 is a top-down racer around various race tracks.
And finally there's a platform shooter very much like Midnight Resistance whose name I cannot remember.
A nice neat package of fun.
