Instructions

1. Print-out the above templates and glue to thin cardboard

2. Line the cone and disc with tin foil

3. Secure a cocktail stick to the reverse of the disc with sticky tape

4. Roll body into tube and glue tab inside

5. Roll cone and glue tab inside then glue end tabs into main body tube

6. Slot the ends of the cocktail stick through holes on either side of tube

7. I'm sure you get the idea but if not see diagram below

How it Works

Light from the sun travels down and into the adjustable "sun-catcher" disc. This light is then re-directed through the main shaft of the torch where it is magnified by the cone of power and distributed into your viewing area.

Handy Hints

1. Spot spiders hiding in dark corners

2. Find lost money down the back of your sofa (not gauranteed)

3. Shine it through a neighbours window and create glare on their TV set

4. Avoid using at night unless there is a full moon with enough light to power the torch

5. If you must use it at night, the torch can be powered by everyday electric lighting

Light beams are dangerous in large quantities, especially when narrowed into a thin laser stream. Luckily this torch does not do that unless the instructions are not followed correctly on building.
